Overview

AI-generated overview

Local MCP server that connects an assistant to RQ-SCAN, an AI-powered document OCR and data extraction platform.

What you can do
Connect an assistant to the RQ-SCAN document OCR and data extraction platform through a local MCP process. The manifest lists no individual tools, so the exact operations are not documented here. Based on the description, the intended use is submitting documents for OCR and retrieving extracted data. Configuration covers an API key, an API URL, an organization ID and an optional workspace ID.
When to use it
Worth adding when you want an assistant to work with RQ-SCAN's OCR and data extraction on documents, and you already have an RQ-SCAN account and organization. Not useful without RQ-SCAN access, since no tools are documented beyond the platform connection.
Requirements
Runs as a local process on the user's machine, installed from the npm package rq-scan-mcp (Node.js required). Needs an RQ-SCAN API key in RQSCAN_API_KEY and an organization ID in RQSCAN_ORGANIZATION_ID. Optionally set RQSCAN_API_URL (default and RQSCAN_WORKSPACE_ID. Network access to the RQ-SCAN API. Desktop only.
Before you install
Requires a secret API key (RQSCAN_API_KEY) and organization ID; keep them out of shared configuration. Documents and extracted content are sent to the third-party RQ-SCAN service at the configured API URL. The manifest lists no tools, so what the assistant can read, upload or change is not documented; review before use.

Score

25% of the applicable checks met

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.

  • Reached in the last 30 days25 pts

Keep the endpoint answering the MCP handshake; SourceWeft probes it every 30 days.

  • Auth declared10 pts

Declare the credential headers in the registry entry, or keep the endpoint answering the probe so its auth can be classified.

  • Tools listed15 pts

Answer tools/list without a credential, or ship a package that starts in a sandbox without one.

Declare a GitHub repository with a README, or serve resource_documentation in the OAuth protected-resource metadata.

  • License10 pts

Declare a license in the repository or the registry entry.
