What it does
Provides four tools over a remote endpoint: search companies by name, SSM or old registration number, entity type, active flag and registration year; fetch a company profile by registration number, including address, former names and its linked court cases; search court cases by case number, court category, court, judge, keyword, party name, linked company or decision year; and fetch a single case with all parties and appeal-record documents. Company parties in cases carry a linked registration number, so a company profile lists the cases it was involved in.
When to use it
Useful for due diligence, legal or compliance research, and journalism that needs to check whether a Malaysian company exists, when it was registered, or whether it appears in Malaysian court cases. Also suited to exploring case law by court, judge, keyword or party.
Requirements
A remote MCP endpoint; no local package or runtime. Add the connector URL in an MCP-compatible client and sign in with Google OAuth when prompted. Network access to the provider is required.
Before you install
Access is tied to a Google sign-in, so the provider sees the account used. Queries are sent to a third-party service. Company register coverage is thin: status and address are recorded for only about 20,000 entities, mostly in Labuan, so most results give only name, numbers, entity type and registration year.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Malaysia Company Registry & Court Cases in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Malaysia Company Registry & Court Cases MCP

Connect your AI assistant to Malaysian company and court data through The Company Atlas and the Model Context Protocol.

  • About 1.7 million companies, limited liability partnerships and Labuan entities, searchable by name, SSM registration number, old registration number, entity type and registration year
  • About 26,000 Malaysian court cases, from the Magistrates' Court to the Federal Court, with parties, roles, judges and case keywords
  • Company parties in court cases are linked to their registration number, so a company profile lists the cases it was involved in

Coverage of the company register is thin: status and address are recorded for about 20,000 entities, mostly in Labuan. For the rest, expect the name, numbers, entity type and registration year.

The MCP connection is provided by The Company Atlas. This repository does not run a separate server.
