Scores Spotify playlists for bot-farm patterns and artificial streaming, and triages distributor warnings about flagged tracks.
What you can do
Score a playlist for inorganic follower inflation, with a 0-100 risk level and factor breakdown
Extract public curator contact channels and pitch guidance from a playlist description
Rank a pasted list of playlists by bot risk after an artificial-streaming warning
List, add and remove playlists under daily cloud monitoring with follower deltas and anomaly flags
Check account tier, remaining free check allowances and enabled features
When to use it
Useful for artists, playlist curators and managers who want a quick risk read on a playlist before pitching or paying for placement, or who need to triage a Spotify for Artists artificial-streaming warning across many playlists.
Requirements
A remote endpoint at spotcheck.cc over streamable HTTP; no package or local runtime. The manifest declares no authentication, but tools refer to an authenticated account, subscription tier and per-account monitoring limits, so an account is likely needed.
Before you install
Monitoring is tied to a paid subscription tier (Pro, Premium) and free checks are limited, so use may involve payment. Adding or removing monitors changes stored account data. Playlist descriptions and links are sent to the service for analysis.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.chrisschouk%2Fspotcheck/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Analyses a Spotify playlist for inorganic follower inflation and bot activity. Returns a 0-100 risk score, risk level (low, medium, high, editorial), heuristic factor breakdown (follower/track ratios, generic naming patterns, sudden follower spikes), and historical snapshot trends.

scan_warning_playlists
Scores every Spotify playlist an artist pastes after a distributor flags a track for artificial streaming (the full list from Spotify for Artists). Returns each playlist ranked by bot-risk score with skip reasons for invalid or unavailable links. Free accounts get up to 2 scans a day with only the worst flagged playlist unlocked; Pro and Premium are unlimited with the full ranked report. Requires a signed-in account (anonymous callers are not supported). Supply artistName, trackName and distributor to also receive drafted reply text once the report is unlocked.
How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
