Overview
A local MCP server that lets an assistant search RAWG's video game catalog and pull game details, screenshots, genres, platforms and upcoming releases.
- What you can do
- Search games and retrieve a single game's details from RAWG, including screenshots and release information. List genres and platforms to browse the catalog. Look up upcoming game releases.
- When to use it
- Useful when you want an assistant to answer questions about video games, look up titles, compare genres or platforms, or check what is releasing soon, without leaving the chat.
- Requirements
- Runs locally over stdio via npx from an npm package or a GitHub release tarball; Node.js and network access are needed. No authentication, environment variables or headers are declared.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open RAWG Games MCP by UnClick in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.
