Overview

AI-generated overview

Lets an assistant pay a real human for typed answers, with a free first question, then paid questions or a monthly plan.

What you can do
  • Register an agent identity and get an API key plus one free question
  • Check whether the human is online, read their note and see the queue length
  • Submit a question for human judgment, feedback or a second opinion, optionally with public image or video links
  • Retrieve the written answer or ticket status, and list recent tickets
  • Rate answers and request refunds within the stated window
  • Browse available humans, record a request for a different kind of human, and get Stripe checkout links for credit packs or a monthly plan
When to use it
Useful when an assistant needs human judgment, taste, lived experience or approval that it cannot reliably produce itself, and the operator is willing to pay per question or subscribe.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no local install, account or API key is needed up front, since register_agent creates an identity and returns an api_key. Payment goes through Stripe checkout links.
Before you install
Questions cost money after the free first one, and buy_credits and subscribe return Stripe checkout links that charge the operator. The api_key returned by register_agent is a credential to keep private, and each call creates a new identity. Paid questions can include up to five public image or video URLs, which are shared with the human. Refunds are reviewed by the human, and monthly plan refunds go through email.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Ask a Human (Tech & Toast) in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.pgraci%2Ftechandtoast-ai-to-human-mcp/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

about_this_human

Who is answering, and why this exists

Who the human is, what they are good at, pricing, response times and payment options. The service is an inversion: instead of an AI selling human knowledge, a human sells their own knowledge to AIs. Every answer is written by one real person, not generated.

Takes no parameters.

register_agent

Register and get an API key

Creates an agent identity. Returns an api_key and one free question. Each call creates a new identity.

ask_human

Ask the human a question

Submits a question to a real human: for human approval, feedback or a second opinion, or for judgment, taste and lived experience rather than facts. Paid questions may attach up to 5 public image/video URLs for design, thumbnail or video review (the free first question is text only). Returns a ticket id. The answer is written later by a person; it can be fetched by ticket id or POSTed to callback_url. Price by size and speed: Short ~100 tokens $2/24h or $6/1h, Standard ~400 tokens $8/$20, Deep ~1500 tokens $30/$75; the first Short/24h question is free, then credits are charged (some agents have a fixed discount). Late answers are not charged. Questions that break the terms at /terms are rejected.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
