Fidibo
io.github.sepehr071v0.1.1Updated Oct 11, 2026
Unofficial read-only Fidibo: search Persian ebooks and audiobooks, compare prices, free books.
Overview
Read-only search of Fidibo's Persian ebook and audiobook catalog, with prices in Toman, free and Plus titles, reviews, and bestsellers.
- What it does
- This unofficial, read-only server exposes tools prefixed fd_ for querying Fidibo, the Iranian ebook and audiobook store. It searches by title, author or keyword with sorting and price, free and Fidibo Plus filters; browses categories, bestsellers, new releases and free titles; and returns full records with price and discount in Toman, format, pages or duration, narrators, rating distribution and Plus status. It also fetches reader reviews, an author's or publisher's books, and category bestsellers in place of similar books.
- When to use it
- Use it when an assistant needs to look up Persian-language ebooks or audiobooks, compare prices and discounts, check whether a title is free or included in Fidibo Plus, or gather reviews and bestseller lists. It suits catalog research and recommendations rather than purchasing.
- Requirements
- Runs locally over stdio as the PyPI package fidibo-mcp, launched with uvx, so uv must be installed. It calls api.fidibo.com directly and needs network access. No account or API key is required. An optional FIDIBO_MCP_PROXY environment variable sets an HTTP proxy, since system proxy settings are ignored.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Fidibo in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.
Other MCP clients
Follow the launch instructions in the repository.
