Overview

AI-generated overview

Turns flow data (from, to, amount) into downloadable Sankey diagrams and checks the flows for problems before drawing.

What you can do
  • Draw Sankey, flow or alluvial diagrams from up to 200 flows and 100 nodes, with SVG, PDF and CSV downloads
  • Validate flow data first, reporting cycles, self-loops, bad amounts and unbalanced nodes with row references
  • Accept flows as pasted text or a list of from, to and amount entries
When to use it
Useful when a user wants a budget, energy balance, sales funnel or traffic-path chart drawn from flow data, or wants to know why a Sankey will not render before generating it.
Requirements
Remote endpoint at sankey-diagram.zovo.one over streamable HTTP; no authentication, environment variables or headers declared.
Before you install
It does not read files, fetch data or save diagrams, so data must be supplied in the request and output retrieved from the returned downloads.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Zovo Sankey in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.theluckystrike%2Fsankey-diagram/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

make_sankey

Make Sankey diagram

Use this when the user wants a Sankey diagram, flow diagram or alluvial-style chart of amounts moving between stages, for example a budget (income to spending), an energy balance, a sales funnel or website traffic paths. Takes flows as from, to and amount (pasted text or a list), up to 200 flows and 100 nodes, plus a title, unit, node order, link colour and PDF page size. Returns node totals, a balance table, totals per column, a proportion check of link widths and node heights, label overlap results, an interactive diagram, and SVG, PDF and CSV downloads. Refuses loops, flows from a node to itself, zero or negative amounts and ambiguous amounts such as 1,234 without a decimal_mark. Does not read files, fetch data from other apps or save diagrams.

check_flows

Check flows

Use this when the user wants to check flow data before drawing a Sankey diagram, for example "do my flows balance" or "why will this Sankey not draw". Takes flows as from, to and amount (pasted text or a list), up to 200 flows and 100 nodes. Returns the problems found, each with its row (unreadable lines, blank names, zero, negative or ambiguous amounts, flows from a node to itself), loops named as paths, pairs that appear more than once, the column of each node, a balance table of inflow and outflow for middle nodes and totals per column. Does not draw the diagram and does not change the data.
