Overview

AI-generated overview

Reads Bilflo staffing data — clients, contract jobs, contractors and reports — and lets an assistant update, terminate or reopen contract jobs.

What you can do
  • List and inspect clients with their contacts, addresses, agreements, contract POs and invoice groups
  • Read contract jobs with pay/bill rates, approvers, purchase orders and custom fields
  • Look up contractors, team members, direct hires, overtime rules, company settings and custom fields
  • Run the company's saved custom reports with report-specific parameters
  • Create or update clients, update contract jobs and contractor contact details, terminate or reopen jobs
  • Check usage, request a feature, upgrade or cancel the subscription
When to use it
Useful when you work in a Bilflo staffing back office and want an assistant to answer questions about clients, placements, rates and reports, or to make routine job and client changes without opening the web app.
Requirements
Remote MCP endpoint added by URL only; sign-in uses OAuth, and the login page asks for Bilflo credentials. On first connect you supply a Bilflo API key (from the Bilflo developer credentials page) and a Company ID provided by your staffing company. No API key or Authorization header goes in the client config.
Before you install
Write tools create clients, change client and contract job fields, edit contractor contact details, and terminate or reopen jobs; terminations and rate changes affect payroll and invoicing, so confirm before running them. The server is a third-party host that holds your Bilflo API key and company data. Free plan is limited to 50 calls a month; paid plans cost money and are billed through a checkout link, with no refund for the current period on cancellation.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Bilflo MCP by usefulapi in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.usefulapi%2Fbilflo/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows
