Overview

AI-generated overview

Hosted Bookafy MCP server that lets an assistant review appointments, staff, services, classes and customers, and create, reschedule or cancel bookings.

What you can do
  • List, create, update and cancel appointments for a staff member, with UTC date filters and paging
  • List, create and update customer records, with search by name, email or phone
  • List services, appointment types with public booking links, and staff members
  • List classes and one-off appointments, view a class with its sessions, and list session attendees
  • List webhook subscriptions and confirm which Bookafy account is connected
  • Check usage, request a feature, and upgrade or cancel the paid plan
When to use it
Useful when you want an assistant to answer scheduling questions or act on a Bookafy calendar: finding a staff member's upcoming appointments, looking up a customer, sharing a booking link, or booking, moving and cancelling appointments on request.
Requirements
A remote MCP endpoint added by URL only; no API key or Authorization header in the client config. Sign-in uses OAuth, and the login page asks for your Bookafy credentials. A Bookafy account is required; the free plan allows 50 tool calls per month.
Before you install
Several tools write to Bookafy: creating, updating and cancelling appointments and customers. Cancelling is irreversible through the API, and Bookafy may email customers and change connected calendars. The server also offers paid plans (Pro and Pro+), and the upgrade tool returns a payment link, so confirm before any purchase or cancellation. Customer names, emails and phones are sent to the hosted service.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Bookafy MCP by usefulapi in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.usefulapi%2Fbookafy/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Connect

  • Claude (claude.ai, Desktop): open Customize → Connectors, click + Add → Add custom connector, and paste https://bookafy.usefulapi.io/mcp.
  • Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http bookafy https://bookafy.usefulapi.io/mcp, then run /mcp to log in.
  • VS Code: Add to VS Code.
  • Cursor and other clients: add the URL as a remote MCP server:
