Overview

AI-generated overview

Hosted read-only MCP access to bookingkit: list events, open dates, orders, tickets, payments, vouchers and coupons for a vendor.

What you can do
  • List vendors and get a single vendor's details
  • List events and event details, plus event categories and additional products
  • List bookable dates with free capacity, optionally only dates with open places
  • List and inspect orders (bookings) with customer, tickets, price and status, filtered by date, status or order code
  • List the payments and tickets belonging to one order
  • List gift vouchers and discount coupons, and list the vendor's staff users
When to use it
Useful when you work with bookingkit as a tour, activity or attraction provider and want an assistant to answer questions about bookings, guest counts, availability or cancellations without opening the admin UI. Also handy for quick operational reporting over orders, payments and vouchers.
Requirements
Remote streamable HTTP endpoint; nothing to install locally. Sign-in is via OAuth on first connect, using the API client ID and API client secret of a bookingkit vendor API client with read scopes (calendar_read, orders_read_owned), issued by bookingkit support. No keys go in the client config. A free plan allows 50 tool calls per month; paid plans are available.
Before you install
The login asks for bookingkit API client credentials, which the server validates and stores per user. Tools are described as read-only, but the server also exposes meta tools that manage a paid subscription: upgrade returns a Stripe Checkout link and cancel ends Pro at the period end, so confirm before running them. Usage is metered and paid plans cost money. Booking, customer and payment data is sent to the third-party host usefulapi.io.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open bookingkit MCP by usefulapi in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.usefulapi%2Fbookingkit/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

README

bookingkit MCP by usefulapi

Use your bookingkit account from Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client. Read events, open dates, orders, tickets, payments, vouchers, coupons and staff users. Hosted, no local install: connect with your own credentials.

Live endpoint: https://bookingkit.usefulapi.io/mcp · Homepage: https://usefulapi.io

Connect

  • Claude (claude.ai, Desktop): open Customize → Connectors, click + Add → Add custom connector, and paste https://bookingkit.usefulapi.io/mcp.
  • Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http bookingkit https://bookingkit.usefulapi.io/mcp, then run /mcp to log in.
  • VS Code: Add to VS Code.
  • Cursor and other clients: add the URL as a remote MCP server:
json
{  "mcpServers": {    "bookingkit": {      "url": "https://bookingkit.usefulapi.io/mcp"    }  }}

Add only the URL. Do not add an Authorization header or an API key to the client config: the server signs you in with OAuth, and the login page asks for your bookingkit credentials.

Step-by-step setup, where to find your credentials, and FAQ: https://usefulapi.io/bookingkit/

On first connect you provide the API client ID and API client secret of a vendor API client with read scopes (calendar_read, orders_read_owned). Ask bookingkit support in the admin chat to issue them. The server validates them and stores them per user. No keys go in config files.
