Overview

AI-generated overview

Connects an assistant to a Demio account to list webinar events and sessions, read session participants, and register attendees.

What you can do
  • Check the connection and whether the Demio key pair is a sandbox pair
  • List webinar events by type (upcoming, past, automated) with status, time and registration URL
  • Get one event with its registration URL, next session and full session series
  • Get a single session's status, Unix timestamp and time zone
  • List a session's participants with name, email, custom fields, attendance flag and status filter
  • Register one person for a webinar and return their personal join link
When to use it
Useful when you want to ask an assistant about upcoming or past Demio webinars, check who attended or left early, or register someone for a webinar without opening the Demio dashboard.
Requirements
Remote MCP endpoint, no local install. Sign-in is via OAuth; the login page asks for a Demio API key and API secret (only the account Owner can create them), which the server validates and stores per user. No keys go in the client config.
Before you install
Registering an attendee writes to Demio and a repeat call can create a second registrant, so confirm before running it. The server stores your Demio API key and secret per user. Usage is metered: 50 calls a month free, with paid plans and Stripe checkout links offered through the server's upgrade tool.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Demio MCP by usefulapi in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.usefulapi%2Fdemio/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

README

Demio MCP by usefulapi

Use your Demio account from Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client. Read webinar events, sessions and participants, and register attendees for a webinar. Hosted, no local install: connect with your own credentials.

Live endpoint: https://demio.usefulapi.io/mcp · Homepage: https://usefulapi.io

Connect

  • Claude (claude.ai, Desktop): open Customize → Connectors, click + Add → Add custom connector, and paste https://demio.usefulapi.io/mcp.
  • Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http demio https://demio.usefulapi.io/mcp, then run /mcp to log in.
  • VS Code: Add to VS Code.
  • Cursor and other clients: add the URL as a remote MCP server:
json
{  "mcpServers": {    "demio": {      "url": "https://demio.usefulapi.io/mcp"    }  }}

Add only the URL. Do not add an Authorization header or an API key to the client config: the server signs you in with OAuth, and the login page asks for your Demio credentials.

Step-by-step setup, where to find your credentials, and FAQ: https://usefulapi.io/demio/

On first connect you provide your Demio API key and your Demio API secret (Account Settings → API; only the account Owner can create them). The server validates them and stores them per user. No keys go in config files.
