Overview

AI-generated overview

A hosted MCP endpoint for Enginemailer that lets an assistant look up subscribers and lists, manage them, and create, send and measure email campaigns.

What you can do
  • Look up a subscriber by email with status and custom field values, and list subscriber categories and custom field definitions
  • Add, update or unsubscribe subscribers, and create or update subscriber categories
  • List undelivered campaigns and campaign categories and subcategories, and read delivery stats for a delivered campaign
  • Create a campaign draft and assign its recipients by subcategory
  • Send a campaign immediately or send a single transactional email
  • Start and poll a CSV export of the transactional delivery report, and check usage or manage the subscription
When to use it
Useful when you work with Enginemailer email marketing and want an assistant to answer questions about subscribers and campaign performance, or to prepare and send campaigns and transactional emails without switching to the Enginemailer portal.
Requirements
Remote streamable HTTP endpoint; add only the URL, no API key or Authorization header in the client config. Sign-in uses OAuth, and the login page asks for Enginemailer credentials; on first connect you paste an Enginemailer API key. Campaign tools need a paid Enginemailer account, and the hosted service has its own free and paid plans.
Before you install
Several tools change data or send real email: sending a campaign or transactional email is immediate and cannot be undone, and unsubscribing requires the person to opt in again. Confirm audience and content before sending, and only add people who consented to marketing email. The service asks for your Enginemailer API key and offers paid plans with payment links; usage is metered per tool call.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Enginemailer MCP by usefulapi in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.usefulapi%2Fenginemailer/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows
