Overview

AI-generated overview

Reads Extensiv warehouse records — facilities, customers, items, orders, inventory and receivers — and can create or cancel outbound orders.

What you can do
  • List facilities, carriers with services and billing codes, customers and customer details
  • List a customer's items (SKUs) and filter them with RQL expressions
  • List and inspect outbound orders, optionally with line items, ship-to and routing details
  • Query inventory: stock summaries, inventory detail lines and per-customer stock details by facility
  • List inbound receivers, receiver line items and purchase orders
  • Create a new outbound order or cancel an eligible order, plus check usage and manage the subscription
When to use it
Useful when an assistant should answer questions about a warehouse's orders, stock levels and inbound receipts, or place and cancel outbound orders in Extensiv without opening the Extensiv UI.
Requirements
Remote MCP endpoint added by URL only; the server signs in with OAuth and the login page asks for Extensiv credentials. No API key or Authorization header goes in the client config. A free plan allows 50 tool calls per month; paid plans raise the limit.
Before you install
Creating an order is not idempotent, so a repeated call makes a second order; check existing orders for the reference number first. Cancelling an order cannot be undone and may include a cancellation fee. Order records contain ship-to names, addresses and contact details (personal data). Paid plans are billed through a payment link, and cancelling gives no refund for the current period.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Extensiv MCP by usefulapi in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.usefulapi%2Fextensiv/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Connect

  • Claude (claude.ai, Desktop): open Customize → Connectors, click + Add → Add custom connector, and paste https://extensiv.usefulapi.io/mcp.
  • Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http extensiv https://extensiv.usefulapi.io/mcp, then run /mcp to log in.
  • VS Code: Add to VS Code.
  • Cursor and other clients: add the URL as a remote MCP server:
json
{  "mcpServers": {    "extensiv": {      "url": "https://extensiv.usefulapi.io/mcp"    }  }}

Add only the URL. Do not add an Authorization header or an API key to the client config: the server signs you in with OAuth, and the login page asks for your Extensiv credentials.

Parametersrqlsortpgnumpgsiz

extensiv_create_order

Create an order

WRITE: submit a new outbound order for a customer and facility (the warehouse will pick and ship it). Not idempotent: calling twice creates two orders, so check extensiv_list_orders for the reference_num first. Needs ids from extensiv_list_customers, extensiv_list_facilities and SKUs from extensiv_list_items; billing_code, carrier and mode are required by Extensiv and must come from extensiv_list_carriers. POST /orders.

extensiv_cancel_order

Cancel an order

WRITE: cancel one order by transaction id, with a reason and an optional cancellation fee. This cannot be undone; the order must be in a state the warehouse can still cancel (otherwise Extensiv answers with an error). The tool first reads the order to get the ETag Extensiv requires (If-Match). POST /orders/{transaction_id}/canceler.
