Overview

AI-generated overview

Read-only access to Fiix maintenance data: find, count and read work orders, assets, purchase orders and accounts from an assistant.

What you can do
  • Find work orders, assets, purchase orders and accounts, optionally filtered with Fiix QL expressions and returning only the fields you name
  • Read a single object of one of those classes by its numeric id
  • Count matching objects of a class and return just the total
  • Check monthly tool-call usage and manage the subscription (upgrade, cancel) or record a feature request
When to use it
Useful when you want an assistant to answer questions about maintenance operations in Fiix, such as open work orders for a line, purchase orders from certain suppliers, or assets without a maintenance schedule, without changing any records.
Requirements
Remote hosted endpoint connected over streamable HTTP; no local install. Sign-in uses OAuth, and on first connect you supply your Fiix subdomain plus an Application Key, Access Key and Secret Key created by a Fiix administrator. The Fiix API requires a Fiix Enterprise plan. Network access to the hosted endpoint is needed.
Before you install
You hand over Fiix API keys (Application Key, Access Key, Secret Key) to a third-party hosted service, which stores them per user; the README says not to put keys in client config. Usage is metered: the free plan allows 50 tool calls a month, and paid plans (Pro, Pro+) are billed through a Stripe checkout link, with no refund for the current period on cancellation. The data tools are read-only, but subscription tools change billing state.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Fiix MCP by usefulapi in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.usefulapi%2Ffiix/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

README

Fiix MCP by usefulapi

Use your Fiix account from Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client. It reads work orders, assets, purchase orders and accounts, and it changes nothing. Hosted, no local install: connect with your own credentials.

Live endpoint: https://fiix.usefulapi.io/mcp · Homepage: https://usefulapi.io

Connect

  • Claude (claude.ai, Desktop): open Customize → Connectors, click + Add → Add custom connector, and paste https://fiix.usefulapi.io/mcp.
  • Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http fiix https://fiix.usefulapi.io/mcp, then run /mcp to log in.
  • VS Code: Add to VS Code.
  • Cursor and other clients: add the URL as a remote MCP server:
json
{  "mcpServers": {    "fiix": {      "url": "https://fiix.usefulapi.io/mcp"    }  }}

Add only the URL. Do not add an Authorization header or an API key to the client config: the server signs you in with OAuth, and the login page asks for your Fiix credentials.

Step-by-step setup, where to find your credentials, and FAQ: https://usefulapi.io/fiix/

On first connect you provide your Fiix subdomain (the part before .macmms.com), an Application Key, an Access Key and a Secret Key. A Fiix administrator creates the keys under Settings → Connect Management → Fiix API Application Settings, and the API needs a Fiix Enterprise plan. The server validates them and stores them per user. No keys go in config files.
