Overview

AI-generated overview

Hosted MCP server for Getform that lets an assistant read a form's submissions and submit new entries to it.

What you can do
  • List a form's submissions page by page, with id, date, status and every submitted answer
  • Filter submissions by query, page size, or omit answers to limit personal data
  • Create a single new submission on a form as if a visitor had filled it in
  • Check monthly tool-call usage and record feature requests
  • Upgrade to Pro or Pro+ and cancel the subscription
When to use it
Useful when you want to review incoming form entries, search for a specific sender, or have an assistant file a test or programmatic entry into a Getform form without opening the dashboard.
Requirements
Remote endpoint reached over streamable HTTP; no local install. Sign-in is via OAuth, and on first connect you provide a Getform API token (created under Account, API Tokens) and a form id; the server stores them per user. No keys go in the client config.
Before you install
Submissions are personal data (sender name, email, phone, answers), so request only what you need. Submitting a form is a write that triggers the form's notifications, autoresponder, webhooks, Slack and Sheets, counts against the plan's monthly submissions, and cannot be undone from the server. Paid plans cost money via a Stripe Checkout link, and cancelling gives no refund for the current period.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Getform MCP by usefulapi in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.usefulapi%2Fgetform/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

README

Getform MCP by usefulapi

Use your Getform account from Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client. It reads the submissions of a form, and it can submit a new entry to it. Hosted, no local install: connect with your own credentials.

Live endpoint: https://getform.usefulapi.io/mcp · Homepage: https://usefulapi.io

Connect

  • Claude (claude.ai, Desktop): open Customize → Connectors, click + Add → Add custom connector, and paste https://getform.usefulapi.io/mcp.
  • Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http getform https://getform.usefulapi.io/mcp, then run /mcp to log in.
  • VS Code: Add to VS Code.
  • Cursor and other clients: add the URL as a remote MCP server:
json
{  "mcpServers": {    "getform": {      "url": "https://getform.usefulapi.io/mcp"    }  }}

Add only the URL. Do not add an Authorization header or an API key to the client config: the server signs you in with OAuth, and the login page asks for your Getform credentials.

Step-by-step setup, where to find your credentials, and FAQ: https://usefulapi.io/getform/

On first connect you provide your Getform API token (Account → API Tokens → Create Token) and a form id (the last part of your form's endpoint URL). The server validates it and stores it per user. No keys go in config files.

getform_list_submissions

List form submissions

List the submissions of one Getform (Forminit) form, one page at a time: id, date, status (open/closed/spam) and every submitted answer (sender name/email/phone and fields). This is personal data: use query, a small size, or include_answers=false when you need less. Needs a paid Getform plan (the read API). GET /v1/forms/{formId}.

getform_submit_form

Submit a form entry

WRITE: create ONE new submission on a Getform (Forminit) form, as if a visitor had filled it in. The form's own workflow then runs: notification emails, autoresponder to the sender's email, webhooks, Slack, Google Sheets. It counts against the plan's monthly submissions and can not be undone from here. Use it only when the user asked for a submission, and with the data the user gave. Never retried. POST /f/{formId}. Returns only the new submission's id and date.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
