Homebase MCP by usefulapi
io.usefulapiv1.0.0Updated Oct 10, 2026
Read Homebase locations, employees, shifts, timecards, labor costs and time clock status.
Overview
Read-only access to Homebase company, location, employee, shift, timecard, labor and time clock data through a hosted MCP endpoint.
- What it does
- This hosted MCP server exposes Homebase workforce data to an assistant. Its read tools cover company and location details, location plans, employee lists and records, shifts (including deleted ones), timecards (including deleted ones), labor reports overall and broken down by role or employee, and current time clock status. A few meta tools report usage, request a feature, and manage a Pro subscription.
- When to use it
- Useful when an assistant needs to answer questions about staffing, schedules, hours worked, or labor cost from a Homebase account without opening the Homebase UI. Suited to managers or operations staff who want quick lookups and summaries of workforce data.
- Requirements
- A remote MCP client pointed at the hosted endpoint; no local install. Sign-in is by OAuth, and the login page asks for Homebase credentials. No API key or Authorization header should be added to the client config. Network access to the endpoint is required.
Installation

- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
