Overview

AI-generated overview

Hosted, read-only MCP server that lets an assistant read a Patreon creator's profile, campaigns, tiers, patrons and posts.

What you can do
  • Read the signed-in Patreon profile and any owned creator campaign
  • List campaigns with tiers, patron counts and pay-per-name, or fetch one campaign by id
  • List campaign members with status, lifetime support, entitlement and charge dates, or fetch one member by id
  • List campaign posts with title, URL, publish date and access flags, and fetch a single post with its HTML body
  • Check monthly tool-call usage, request a missing feature, and manage or cancel the paid plan
When to use it
Useful when you want an assistant to answer questions about your own Patreon page — how many patrons each tier has, who joined recently, which posts are paid — without exporting data by hand.
Requirements
Remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no local install. Sign-in is via OAuth with your Patreon account on first connect; the README says not to add an Authorization header or API key to the client config. A free plan allows 50 tool calls per month.
Before you install
Read-only tools do not change Patreon data, but the meta tools can start a paid subscription through a Stripe Checkout link and cancel it, so confirm before running them. Paid plans cost $9/month or $90/year (Pro) and $39/month or $390/year (Pro+); cancellation has no refund for the current period. Patreon data is read through the hosted third-party service, and member names may be hidden by the patron.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Patreon MCP by usefulapi in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.usefulapi%2Fpatreon/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

README

Patreon MCP by usefulapi

Use your Patreon account from Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client. Read your campaigns, tiers, patrons and posts, without changing anything. Hosted, no local install: connect with your own credentials.

Live endpoint: https://patreon.usefulapi.io/mcp · Homepage: https://usefulapi.io

Connect

  • Claude (claude.ai, Desktop): open Customize → Connectors, click + Add → Add custom connector, and paste https://patreon.usefulapi.io/mcp.
  • Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http patreon https://patreon.usefulapi.io/mcp, then run /mcp to log in.
  • VS Code: Add to VS Code.
  • Cursor and other clients: add the URL as a remote MCP server:
json
{  "mcpServers": {    "patreon": {      "url": "https://patreon.usefulapi.io/mcp"    }  }}

Add only the URL. Do not add an Authorization header or an API key to the client config: the server signs you in with OAuth, and you sign in with your Patreon account.

On first connect you sign in to Patreon and approve access. The server validates the sign-in and stores it per user. No keys go in config files.
