Overview

AI-generated overview

Hosted MCP server that lets an assistant read Progenda practices, calendars, patients and appointments, suggest free slots, and book or change appointments.

What you can do
  • List centers and calendars to find the ids other tools need
  • List and fetch patients of a center, including by your own remote id
  • List and fetch appointments of a calendar, filtered by time range or last update
  • List services and compute suggested free slots for a service
  • Create and update patients and appointments, including time, status, arrival and no-show
  • Check monthly usage, request a missing feature, and upgrade or cancel a paid plan
When to use it
Useful for clinics or practices on Progenda that want to ask an assistant about the day's schedule, look up a patient, find open slots, or book and move appointments without opening the Progenda web app.
Requirements
Remote endpoint only, no local install; connect the MCP URL in a client such as Claude, Claude Code, VS Code or Cursor. Sign-in is via OAuth, and on first connect you supply your Progenda user e-mail address and a Progenda API token generated in the Progenda web application. No keys go in config files.
Before you install
Patient data is personal and health-adjacent, so fetch only what is asked for. Write tools create or change patients and appointments and should be confirmed first; each create call makes a new record. The server stores your Progenda e-mail and API token per user. Free tier is 50 calls a month; paid plans cost money and are billed through a Stripe checkout link, with no refund for the current period on cancellation.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Progenda MCP by usefulapi in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.usefulapi%2Fprogenda/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

README

Progenda MCP by usefulapi

Use your Progenda account from Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client. It reads centers, calendars, patients, appointments and services, suggests open slots, and creates and updates patients and appointments. Hosted, no local install: connect with your own credentials.

Live endpoint: https://progenda.usefulapi.io/mcp · Homepage: https://usefulapi.io

Connect

  • Claude (claude.ai, Desktop): open Customize → Connectors, click + Add → Add custom connector, and paste https://progenda.usefulapi.io/mcp.
  • Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http progenda https://progenda.usefulapi.io/mcp, then run /mcp to log in.
  • VS Code: Add to VS Code.
  • Cursor and other clients: add the URL as a remote MCP server:
json
{  "mcpServers": {    "progenda": {      "url": "https://progenda.usefulapi.io/mcp"    }  }}

Add only the URL. Do not add an Authorization header or an API key to the client config: the server signs you in with OAuth, and the login page asks for your Progenda credentials.

Step-by-step setup, where to find your credentials, and FAQ: https://usefulapi.io/progenda/

On first connect you provide your Progenda user e-mail address and a Progenda API token (generate the token in the Progenda web application). The server validates it and stores it per user. No keys go in config files.
