Overview

AI-generated overview

Remote MCP server for RaspberryPints that lets an assistant read a brewery's beers, taps and pours, and add beers or put them on tap.

What you can do
  • Read brewery details and the taplist, including the brewery name, subdomain and taplist ids
  • List and look up beers by id or external id, with style, ABV, IBU, SRM and price
  • List and look up taps with the beer on each tap and the active keg session's volume
  • List recorded pours newest first, filtered by time or tap, and look up a pour by external id
  • Create and update beers, create taps, and tap or untap a beer on a tap
  • Check monthly usage, request a missing feature, and upgrade or cancel the subscription
When to use it
Useful when you want to ask an assistant about a taproom's current lineup, keg levels or recent pours, or to make menu and tap changes without opening the RaspberryPints admin panel. It suits small breweries and self-pour venues already running RaspberryPints.
Requirements
Remote endpoint reached over streamable HTTP; no local install. Sign-in is by OAuth, so add only the server URL and no Authorization header. On first connect you supply your brewery ID and a Partner API key with Owner access, which the server stores per user. A free plan allows 50 tool calls per month; paid plans are available.
Before you install
Write tools change live taproom data: creating or updating beers, creating taps, and tapping or untapping kegs, which starts or ends a keg session. The server asks for a Partner API key with Owner access, so grant it deliberately. Paid plans involve payment through a checkout link, and cancelling Pro gives no refund for the current period. Usage is metered and capped by plan.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open RaspberryPints MCP by usefulapi in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.usefulapi%2Fraspberrypints/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

README

RaspberryPints MCP by usefulapi

Use your RaspberryPints account from Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client. Read taps, beers and pours, and add beers or put them on tap. Hosted, no local install: connect with your own credentials.

Live endpoint: https://raspberrypints.usefulapi.io/mcp · Homepage: https://usefulapi.io

Connect

  • Claude (claude.ai, Desktop): open Customize → Connectors, click + Add → Add custom connector, and paste https://raspberrypints.usefulapi.io/mcp.
  • Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http raspberrypints https://raspberrypints.usefulapi.io/mcp, then run /mcp to log in.
  • VS Code: Add to VS Code.
  • Cursor and other clients: add the URL as a remote MCP server:
json
{  "mcpServers": {    "raspberrypints": {      "url": "https://raspberrypints.usefulapi.io/mcp"    }  }}

Add only the URL. Do not add an Authorization header or an API key to the client config: the server signs you in with OAuth, and the login page asks for your RaspberryPints credentials.

Step-by-step setup, where to find your credentials, and FAQ: https://usefulapi.io/raspberrypints/

On first connect you provide your brewery ID (shown on the API Keys page) and a Partner API key (admin panel → API Keys, Owner access). The server validates it and stores it per user. No keys go in config files.
