Overview

AI-generated overview

Hosted SupportBee connector that lets an assistant read tickets, replies, comments and reports, and reply, label, assign and archive tickets.

What you can do
  • List and full-text search tickets, and read one ticket with its audit trail
  • Read public replies and internal comments of a ticket
  • List labels, teams, users, snippets and forwarding addresses, and get one user
  • Fetch time-series reports such as ticket counts, reply counts and average first response time
  • Reply to a ticket by e-mail, add internal comments, add or remove labels
  • Assign or unassign tickets, archive them, and mark them answered or unanswered
When to use it
Useful when a support or success team works in SupportBee and wants an assistant to triage the shared inbox, summarize customer conversations, answer questions about volume and response times, or draft and send replies without leaving the chat client.
Requirements
Remote MCP endpoint; no local install. Connect with only the server URL and sign in through OAuth, where the SupportBee credentials are entered. A SupportBee account is required; reports need an admin token. Free plan allows 50 tool calls per month.
Before you install
Replying sends a real e-mail to the customer and cc/bcc addresses and cannot be recalled. Other write tools change ticket state, labels and assignments. The service is paid beyond the free tier: upgrade returns a Stripe checkout link, and cancellation gives no refund for the current period. SupportBee data passes through a third-party host.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open SupportBee MCP by usefulapi in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.usefulapi%2Fsupportbee/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

README

SupportBee MCP by usefulapi

Use SupportBee from Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client — tickets, replies, comments, labels, teams, users and reports, plus replies and ticket triage. Hosted, no local install: connect with your own SupportBee credentials.

Live endpoint: https://supportbee.usefulapi.io/mcp · Homepage: https://usefulapi.io/supportbee

Connect

  • Claude (claude.ai, Desktop): open Customize → Connectors, click + Add → Add custom connector, and paste https://supportbee.usefulapi.io/mcp.
  • Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http supportbee https://supportbee.usefulapi.io/mcp, then run /mcp to log in.
  • VS Code: Add to VS Code.
  • Cursor and other clients: add the URL as a remote MCP server:
json
{  "mcpServers": {    "supportbee": {      "url": "https://supportbee.usefulapi.io/mcp"    }  }}

Add only the URL. Do not add an Authorization header or an API key to the client config: the server signs you in with OAuth, and the login page asks for your SupportBee credentials.
