Overview

AI-generated overview

Hosted read-only MCP access to Viral Loops campaigns: stats, participants, referrals, ranks and rewards.

What you can do
  • Read campaign stats and configuration: lead and referral counts, campaign type, template, landing page and expiration
  • Look up a single participant's profile, referral code, points, referrer, rank and join order
  • List the people a participant referred, or find who referred them
  • Search and query participants in bulk with filters and paging, returning totals
  • List pending and already-given rewards, for one participant or paged across the campaign
  • Check monthly tool-call usage and manage the subscription plan
When to use it
Useful when you run a Viral Loops referral or waiting-list campaign and want to ask questions about it in chat: how many leads and referrals came in, who is leading the leaderboard, who referred whom, or which rewards are still pending.
Requirements
Remote endpoint at viral-loops.usefulapi.io, added by URL only; sign-in is via OAuth, and on first connect you supply the campaign secret API token from the campaign editor (Settings, Installation). One token covers one campaign. No local install or API key in the client config.
Before you install
You hand the server your Viral Loops campaign secret API token, which it stores per user; one token covers only one campaign. The free tier allows 50 tool calls a month, and paid plans (Pro, Pro+) are billed through Stripe Checkout links returned by the upgrade tool; cancellation runs to the end of the paid period with no refund for the current period. The listed tools are read-only, but the server also offers meta tools that change your subscription and send feature requests.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Viral Loops MCP by usefulapi in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.usefulapi%2Fviral-loops/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

README

Viral Loops MCP by usefulapi

Use your Viral Loops account from Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client. Read campaign stats, participants, referrals, ranks and rewards. Hosted, no local install: connect with your own credentials.

Live endpoint: https://viral-loops.usefulapi.io/mcp · Homepage: https://usefulapi.io

Connect

  • Claude (claude.ai, Desktop): open Customize → Connectors, click + Add → Add custom connector, and paste https://viral-loops.usefulapi.io/mcp.
  • Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http viral-loops https://viral-loops.usefulapi.io/mcp, then run /mcp to log in.
  • VS Code: Add to VS Code.
  • Cursor and other clients: add the URL as a remote MCP server:
json
{  "mcpServers": {    "viral-loops": {      "url": "https://viral-loops.usefulapi.io/mcp"    }  }}

Add only the URL. Do not add an Authorization header or an API key to the client config: the server signs you in with OAuth, and the login page asks for your Viral Loops credentials.

Step-by-step setup, where to find your credentials, and FAQ: https://usefulapi.io/viral-loops/

On first connect you provide the campaign secret API token (campaign editor → Settings → Installation). One token covers one campaign. The server validates it and stores it per user. No keys go in config files.
