Overview

AI-generated overview

Hosted MCP server that lets an assistant list Web3Forms forms, read their submissions, and create new submissions.

What you can do
  • List forms in the account with form_id, name, creation date and submission counts
  • List and page through a form's submissions, including fields, IP address, user agent, site URL and attachments
  • Fetch a single submission by its id
  • Create a submission on a form you own, as if a visitor sent it
  • Check monthly tool-call usage, request a missing feature, and upgrade or cancel the Pro subscription
When to use it
Useful when you want to review or search website contact-form entries from a chat client, count submissions per form, or have the assistant file a test or programmatic submission through Web3Forms.
Requirements
Remote endpoint only, no local install; connect with the server URL and sign in via OAuth. On first connect you supply a Web3Forms Submissions API key from the Web3Forms dashboard, stored per user by the server. No keys go in the client config.
Before you install
The create-submission tool writes real data: it counts toward the monthly quota and triggers notification emails, autoresponders and integrations, and it has no idempotency key, so verify after a timeout. It needs a key with the Create submissions permission, so grant that only if wanted. The server stores your API key and offers paid plans with Stripe checkout links; free tier is limited to 50 tool calls a month.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Web3Forms MCP by usefulapi in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.usefulapi%2Fweb3forms/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

README

Web3Forms MCP by usefulapi

Use your Web3Forms account from Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client. List forms and read their submissions, and create submissions. Hosted, no local install: connect with your own credentials.

Live endpoint: https://web3forms.usefulapi.io/mcp · Homepage: https://usefulapi.io

Connect

  • Claude (claude.ai, Desktop): open Customize → Connectors, click + Add → Add custom connector, and paste https://web3forms.usefulapi.io/mcp.
  • Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http web3forms https://web3forms.usefulapi.io/mcp, then run /mcp to log in.
  • VS Code: Add to VS Code.
  • Cursor and other clients: add the URL as a remote MCP server:
json
{  "mcpServers": {    "web3forms": {      "url": "https://web3forms.usefulapi.io/mcp"    }  }}

Add only the URL. Do not add an Authorization header or an API key to the client config: the server signs you in with OAuth, and the login page asks for your Web3Forms credentials.

Step-by-step setup, where to find your credentials, and FAQ: https://usefulapi.io/web3forms/

On first connect you provide a Web3Forms Submissions API key (Web3Forms → Dashboard → Account → API Keys). Tick Create submissions only if you want the assistant to create them. The server validates it and stores it per user. No keys go in config files.
