Overview

AI-generated overview

Hosted MCP server for WhatConverts that lets an assistant read lead, call, form, account and user data and create or update leads.

What you can do
  • List and fetch leads with source, campaign, keyword attribution, contact details, values and transcripts
  • Get call recording and voicemail links plus call transcripts for phone leads
  • Create new leads and update a lead's quote value, sales value, URL or custom fields
  • Browse agency accounts, profiles, users and roles
  • List tracking phone numbers and tracked web forms
  • Check usage, request features, upgrade or cancel the subscription
When to use it
Useful when you want an assistant to answer questions about lead volume and attribution, review call and form leads, or record offline leads and sales values in WhatConverts without leaving the chat.
Requirements
A remote endpoint added by URL only; no local install. Sign-in is via OAuth, and the login page asks for your own WhatConverts credentials. Agency-level tools need an agency key; profile-level tools work with a profile key. A free plan allows 50 tool calls per month.
Before you install
Two tools write to WhatConverts: creating a lead is not idempotent, so repeated calls create duplicates, and updating a lead overwrites the fields you pass. The server handles your WhatConverts credentials through its own OAuth login. Paid plans are billed through a Stripe checkout link returned by the upgrade tool, and cancellation gives no refund for the current period. Lead data, including contact details and call transcripts, is sent to the hosted service.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open WhatConverts MCP by usefulapi in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.usefulapi%2Fwhatconverts/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

WhatConverts MCP by usefulapi

Use WhatConverts from Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client — leads from calls, forms and chats, accounts, profiles, users and tracking numbers, plus lead value updates. Hosted, no local install: connect with your own WhatConverts credentials.

Live endpoint: https://whatconverts.usefulapi.io/mcp · Homepage: https://usefulapi.io/whatconverts

Connect

  • Claude (claude.ai, Desktop): open Customize → Connectors, click + Add → Add custom connector, and paste https://whatconverts.usefulapi.io/mcp.
  • Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http whatconverts https://whatconverts.usefulapi.io/mcp, then run /mcp to log in.
  • VS Code: Add to VS Code.
  • Cursor and other clients: add the URL as a remote MCP server:
json
{  "mcpServers": {    "whatconverts": {      "url": "https://whatconverts.usefulapi.io/mcp"    }  }}

Add only the URL. Do not add an Authorization header or an API key to the client config: the server signs you in with OAuth, and the login page asks for your WhatConverts credentials.

whatconverts_list_leads

List leads

List tracked leads (phone calls, web forms, chats, texts, emails, events, transactions) with source/medium/campaign/keyword attribution, contact details, quote and sales values, call duration and transcripts. start_date is REQUIRED because WhatConverts otherwise returns only today's leads; a range is at most 400 days. A Profile key sees its own profile; an Agency key can narrow by account_id/profile_id. GET /leads.

whatconverts_get_lead

Get lead

One lead by id with every field: type, status, attribution (source, medium, campaign, keyword, landing page), contact details, location, device, quote/sales value, call details, transcripts, form/message content, and custom fields. GET /leads/{lead_id}.

Parameterslead_idrequiredcustomer_journey

whatconverts_get_call_recording_info

Get call recording info

Recording and voicemail facts for a phone-call lead: the recording and voicemail links, call duration, answer status, tracking/caller numbers and the call/voicemail transcripts. Returns links and text only, never audio. Taken from GET /leads/{lead_id} (the audio endpoint GET /recording returns raw MP3 and is not used).

Parameterslead_idrequired

whatconverts_update_lead

Update lead

WRITE: update a lead's sales data in WhatConverts: quotable state, quote value, sales value, the URL where the lead occurred, and/or custom/additional field values. Only the fields you pass change; it overwrites the previous values of those fields. Sends no notifications. At least one field is required. POST /leads/{lead_id}.

Parameterslead_idrequiredlead_urlquotablequote_valuesales_valuecustom_fieldsadditional_fields

whatconverts_create_lead

Create lead

WRITE: add a lead to WhatConverts, for example an offline phone call, a form submission from another system or a sale you want attributed. It appears in reports and counts toward lead totals; send_notification is always off, so no emails go out. Not idempotent: calling twice creates two leads. A Profile key adds to its own profile; an Agency key must pass profile_id. POST /leads.

List accounts

Agency key only: list the accounts (clients) of the agency with their profiles (id, name, date created). Use the ids to filter leads. start_date/end_date filter by creation date (WhatConverts defaults start_date to today, so pass an early start_date to see all). GET /accounts.

Parametersrole_idrequired

whatconverts_list_phone_numbers

List tracking phone numbers

List the call-tracking numbers: tracking and destination number, call flow, trigger (source/medium), call recording and messaging flags, last used. A Profile key lists its own profile; an Agency key may filter by account_id/profile_id. GET /tracking/numbers.
