Requirements
Remote MCP endpoint; no local install. Connect with the URL only and sign in through the server's OAuth login page using your own Zenserp credentials. A Zenserp plan is needed: free tier of 50 tool calls per month, or a paid Pro/Pro+ plan.
Before you install
Every search tool spends quota from your Zenserp plan, and the answer-engine tool bills at a premium per-answer rate and is slow. The README marks search tools as write-type, so clients may prompt for confirmation. Upgrade returns a Stripe payment link; cancelling Pro has no refund for the current period. Queries and image URLs are sent to Zenserp and onward to Google and other engines.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Zenserp MCP by usefulapi in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Zenserp MCP by usefulapi

Use Zenserp from Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client — search results for web, images, news, videos, maps, shopping, YouTube, reverse image, jobs, hotels, flights and Google Trends, AI answer engines (by plan), plus account status, engines, languages, countries and locations. Each search spends requests from your own Zenserp plan. Hosted, no local install: connect with your own Zenserp credentials.

Connect

  • Claude (claude.ai, Desktop): open Customize → Connectors, click + Add → Add custom connector, and paste https://zenserp.usefulapi.io/mcp.
  • Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http zenserp https://zenserp.usefulapi.io/mcp, then run /mcp to log in.
  • VS Code: Add to VS Code.
  • Cursor and other clients: add the URL as a remote MCP server:
