Schedule, validate and publish social posts to 12 networks; every post is rule-checked first.

Overview

AI-generated overview

Hosted social media scheduling server that lets an assistant draft, rule-check, schedule and publish posts to 12 networks.

What you can do
  • Draft and validate posts: put a text draft in the composer and dry-run a post against every channel, file, time and network limit without creating anything
  • Schedule and publish posts, with media uploaded through dedicated upload tools so file bytes never pass through the assistant
  • Manage posts: list, read, update, delete, retry, and edit or delete already-published posts
  • Read performance: post performance and insights, analytics summaries, audience data, comments and acting on comments
  • Look up channels, next queue times, Pinterest boards, YouTube playlists, TikTok creator info and usage
When to use it
Useful when an assistant should prepare and publish social content across several networks while catching posts a network would reject before they go out. Fits teams that want scheduling, analytics and comment handling in one connection rather than per-network integrations.
Requirements
Remote Streamable HTTP endpoint; no local package. Authentication is required via OAuth 2.1 with PKCE and dynamic client registration, or an API key sent as a bearer token. A Preflight account is needed; the MCP server, API keys and webhooks are available on every plan, including Free.
Before you install
The connection can publish live content and edit or delete published posts; publishing is a separate scope, so grant posts:publish only when intended. Media and post data are sent to the hosted service, which is operated from the Czech Republic and hosted in the EU. Treat API keys as secrets.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Preflight in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
  3. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/social.preflight%2Fmcp/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Other MCP clients

Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

What the tools do

The tools fall into five jobs.

  • Draft: draft_post puts a text draft in the composer. It cannot publish.
  • Check: validate_post is a dry run of create_post with the same arguments. It checks every channel, file, time and network limit and creates nothing.
  • Schedule or publish: create_post, with files through create_media_upload, complete_media_upload and get_media. The bytes never pass through the assistant.
  • Manage: list_posts, get_post, update_post, delete_post, retry_post, edit_published_post, delete_published_post.
  • Learn: post_performance, post_insights, analytics_summary, audience, list_comments, act_on_comment.

Also: list_channels, next_queue_times, list_pinterest_boards, create_pinterest_board, list_youtube_playlists, create_youtube_playlist, tiktok_creator_info, get_usage.

Everything an assistant publishes goes through the same checks as the web composer and the REST API, so a post that a network would refuse is stopped before it is sent.

Scopes

ScopeLets the assistant
posts:readread channels, posts, comments, figures and usage; run validate_post
posts:writewrite drafts, edit or delete posts that have not gone out
posts:publishanything that goes live
media:read, media:writesee and upload files

Publishing is its own scope. A connection without posts:publish can still draft.
