Displays real token usage and estimated savings for the current Claude Code session from session logs.
- What it does
- This skill surfaces token usage statistics for the current session, read directly from Claude Code session logs rather than estimated by a model. It is invoked as /genshijin-stats, and the output is injected by a mode-tracker hook that returns formatted stats as the reason for a blocking decision, so the user sees the numbers immediately. Options include a shareable one-line summary, lifetime totals, and lifetime totals for a specified period such as 7d or 24h.
- When to use it
- Use it when you want to see how many tokens the current session has actually consumed and how much was estimated to be saved. It also fits checking lifetime aggregates or producing a short shareable summary line.
- Requirements
- Requires Claude Code session logs and the hooks genshijin-stats.js and genshijin-mode-tracker.js; the skill itself ships no scripts and performs no model-side calculation.
