Routes ListenHub requests to specialized skills for podcasts, video, slides, voice, music, images and content extraction.
- What it does
- This is a router skill: it reads the user's message, matches the intent against a routing table of keywords, and tells the user which specialized ListenHub skill to follow. It covers audio, podcast, explainer video, slides, voice cloning, TTS, image and video generation, music, content extraction, transcription and creator workflows. If the intent is ambiguous, it presents a short menu of options and asks the user to choose. It produces no artifacts itself; it delegates to the selected skill's instructions.
- When to use it
- Use it when a request is a general ListenHub action such as making a podcast, generating a video or image, reading text aloud, cloning a voice, or parsing a link, and the correct specialized skill is not yet known. It is also useful when the user's wording is vague and needs to be clarified before routing.
- Requirements
- Requires the ListenHub CLI binary named listenhub, installed globally via npm and authenticated through a browser login; the skill says to install and log in automatically rather than asking the user. The transcription route is noted as running locally without the CLI or an API key. It ships no scripts, only instructions.
Purpose
This is a router skill. When users trigger a general ListenHub action, this skill identifies the intent and delegates to the appropriate specialized skill.
Routing Table
How to Route
- Read the user's message and identify which category it falls into
- Tell the user which skill you're routing to
- Follow that skill's SKILL.md completely
If the intent is ambiguous, ask the user to clarify:
Prerequisites
Most skills require the ListenHub CLI. Check:
If not installed or not logged in, handle automatically — never ask the user to run install commands:
- Auto-install: run
npm install -g @marswave/listenhub-cli silently
- Auto-login: run
listenhub auth login (opens browser)
Exception: /asr runs locally and needs no CLI or API key.
