Routes math requests to exact CLI commands for a math cognitive stack.
- What it does
- This skill acts as a deterministic, pattern-based router that maps a user's math intent to a specific CLI command. It returns a JSON object containing the command and a confidence value, which the agent then executes. It covers 32 routes across 7 scripts, including sympy, pint, shapely, z3, scratchpad, tutor, and plot categories. It also supports listing all routes or filtering them by category.
- When to use it
- Use it first for any math request, such as integrating, differentiating, solving, converting units, proving, or plotting. It is intended to avoid reading individual skill documentation and to get a precise command quickly. If the router returns a null command, the intent was not recognized and the user should be asked to clarify.
- Requirements
- It requires the uv runtime and Python, and it references scripts under scripts/cc_math/ such as math_router.py and sympy_compute.py. The skill itself ships no scripts and is instructions only.
Math Router
ALWAYS use this router first for math requests.
Instead of reading individual skill documentation, call the router to get the exact command:
Usage
Example Workflow
- User says: "integrate sin(x) from 0 to pi"
- You run:
uv run python scripts/cc_math/math_router.py route "integrate sin(x) from 0 to pi"
- Router returns:
- You execute the returned command
- Return result to user
Why Use The Router
- Faster: No need to read skill docs
- Deterministic: Pattern-based, not LLM inference
- Accurate: Extracts arguments correctly
- Complete: Covers 32 routes across 7 scripts

Fallback
If the router returns {"command": null}, the intent wasn't recognized. Then:
- Ask user to clarify
- Or use individual skills: /sympy-compute, /z3-solve, /pint-compute, etc.
