Searches the WeCom (Enterprise WeChat) contact directory by name, pinyin, English name or alias and returns userid, department and position.
- What it does
- This skill instructs an agent to run the wecom-cli contact users search command with a JSON argument containing up to 10 keywords, which are matched against Chinese names, pinyin, English names and aliases. It returns a users array with each person's userid, name, alias, email, position, matched keywords and department paths, plus a hint field and a users_count. The skill also defines display rules: show at most five ambiguous candidates per keyword, keep the API's original ordering, and surface any result-limit hint to the user. It produces contact lookup results rather than files.
- When to use it
- Use it when a user needs to find a colleague in the WeCom directory, distinguish people who share the same name, obtain someone's userid, or enumerate everyone matching a name. It is also meant for cases where the user explicitly asks for a complete list of people with a given name.
- Requirements
- Requires the wecom-cli binary to be installed and available on PATH, plus whatever credentials and network access wecom-cli itself needs. The skill states that the shared wecomcli-shared skill's prerequisite checks must be read and completed before running any wecom-cli command. It ships no scripts; it is instructions only.
