Overview

AI-generated overview

A remote MCP server for searching free bot recipes and browsing a directory of MCP servers and bots.

What you can do
Search free bot recipes and get titles, summaries, URLs and next steps for each result. Retrieve one full recipe by id, including its next-step tool. List MCP servers and bots in the botrecipe.com directory, optionally filtered by query, kind or category.
When to use it
Useful when you want ready-made bot or AI setup recipes with steps and pitfalls, or want to look up MCP servers and bots in a moderated directory.
Requirements
A remote endpoint at botrecipe.com over streamable HTTP; no package or runtime install. Retrieving a full recipe requires an email address, passed as the email argument, an email query parameter on the MCP URL, or an X-Email header.
Before you install
Getting a full recipe requires supplying an email address, which is sent to the service; use it only with the person's agreement. The description mentions a paid full pack, so expect a purchase option. Directory listings come from a moderated third-party source.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Bot Recipes in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.botrecipe%2Frecipes/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
