Overview

AI-generated overview

Remote MCP server that lets an assistant run Finnish company checks — status, insolvency, LEI and sanctions — from official registers.

What you can do
  • Look up Finnish companies and retrieve their register status
  • Check insolvency and sanctions information for a company
  • Retrieve LEI (legal entity identifier) details
  • Return results drawn from official registers for due-diligence use
When to use it
Useful when you need quick due diligence on a Finnish company — verifying that a counterparty exists and is active, or screening for insolvency, LEI or sanctions before a deal, onboarding or payment.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint hosted on Apify; no local install. Requires an Apify API token sent as a bearer token in the Authorization header. An Apify account with billing enabled, since checks are charged per company.
Before you install
The Authorization header carries your Apify API token, a billable credential — keep it secret. Each company check is billed to your Apify account, so repeated lookups cost money. Results come from third-party registers via Apify and should be confirmed against the official source before relying on them.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Finland Company Check in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Connect Authorization token credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
  3. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.JusticeUA%2Ffinland-company-check/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

This server asks for a credential such as an API key, so SourceWeft could not read its tools without one and has not indexed them.
