Requirements
A remote MCP endpoint at mcp.apify.com, added with the tool selector for this Actor. An Apify account and authentication: either an Apify sign-in in the MCP client or an Authorization header carrying a Bearer token from Apify Integrations. Network access is required.
Before you install
It is a paid service: transcripts are billed per successful transcript (about $4 to $5 per 1,000 depending on plan), and the Authorization header carries an Apify API token that should be kept secret. Default runs cap at 50 videos per channel or playlist. Auto-generated captions may contain transcription errors, and requests send video, channel and playlist identifiers to Apify.

Installation

YouTube Transcript Scraper — agent skill and hosted MCP
