Remote MCP server that runs one question across science, world news, Internet Archive, GitHub, Wikipedia and social discussions, returning dated, linked…
What you can do
Search one question across many sources at once, grouped by source and dated
Look up scientific literature and metadata via arXiv and Crossref
Find recent world news in 100+ languages from the last three months
Search Internet Archive, GitHub and Wikipedia
Search public discussions on Bluesky, Mastodon, Lemmy, Hacker News and forums
List the available sources and what each one covers
When to use it
Useful when a normal web search misses the target: academic literature, non-English or recent world news, archived material, code repositories, or what people are saying on social platforms. Good for research questions that benefit from several source types in one pass.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint at faceabot.com; no package, environment variables or headers are declared. No authentication is declared, and the server states it uses official free access only.
Before you install
Queries are sent to a third-party service that fans them out to many external sources, so the question text leaves your machine. Results are dated and linked but come from public sources of varying reliability; verify before relying on them.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.faceabot%2Fdeep-search/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Deep search across science, news, archives, code, Wikipedia and discussions
Search one question at once in sources a normal web search misses: science (arXiv, Crossref), world news in 100+ languages of the last 3 months (GDELT), Internet Archive, GitHub, Wikipedia, and what people say (Bluesky, Mastodon, Lemmy, Hacker News, forums). Results grouped by source, dated, with links.
Use when: you need rich, hard-to-find, sourced information on a subject.
Example: {"query":"agentic commerce paid placement","sources":["science","news"],"lang":"en"}
The sources searched by deep_search and what each one covers.
Takes no parameters.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
