Remote MCP server that gives an assistant official public holidays for about 200 countries, including next holidays and date checks.
What you can do
List a country's official public holidays for a given year, with date, English and local name, and whether nationwide or regional
Show the next upcoming public holidays from today with how many days away
Check whether a specific date is a public holiday in a country and whether it is nationwide or regional
When to use it
Useful when planning meetings, deliveries, travel or deadlines around national holidays, or when answering questions about whether offices, banks or schools are closed on a given day in a particular country.
Requirements
Remote streamable HTTP endpoint at faceabot.com; no account, API key or headers declared. Network access is required.
Before you install
Holiday data comes from the open-source Nager.Date dataset; the server itself advises checking the government's calendar for legal or payroll decisions. Bank-only holidays are omitted unless requested, so results may not match every official closure.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.faceabot%2Fpublic-holidays/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
