Remote, key-free weather server that gives an assistant forecasts, sunrise/sunset times, pollen and air quality for places worldwide.
What you can do
Get current conditions and up to 9-day forecasts for a city, address or coordinates, including temperature, rain, wind, humidity, UV index and hourly detail for the next 12 hours.
Look up sunrise, sunset, solar noon and day length for a place and date, or up to 7 days ahead, including midnight sun and polar night.
Check pollen levels (Europe, in season) and air quality indexes and pollutants worldwide for now and up to 4 days.
When to use it
Useful when questions about weather, rain, temperature, wind, sunrise or sunset, hay fever and air quality come up and you want answers without signing up for a weather API. Good for travel, outdoor and photo planning.
Requirements
Nothing to install: it is a remote streamable HTTP endpoint. No account, API key, environment variable or header is declared. Network access to the endpoint is required.
Before you install
Read-only lookups; no credentials or payments are involved. Data comes from third parties (MET Norway, CAMS via Open-Meteo, OpenStreetMap) and results may be cached up to an hour, so it may lag current conditions. Pollen data covers Europe only and only during the pollen season.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.faceabot%2Fweather/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
